Task
Create a direct mail piece that sold the client’s exceptional USA-style customer service. The problem with selling customer service in a service business is it's so easy to be twee and so difficult to grab attention; you have to say you provide good service, although saying you provide good service is not good enough.
Our Solution
We decided to say the same as everyone else – but we said it with a mixture of real chutzpah and humour. No one will look at “we give good service”. “Shockingly Good Service” with a photo showing a pair of legs lying on the floor to suggest fainting with shock is a different matter. And, to save cost, the feet in the shot belong to one of us — it was specially commissioned.
