Data Analysis & Biostatistics
TcLandscape identifies the mobilized T cells selectively involved in the complex immune response among the millions of T cells available.
More precisely, this approach combines the analysis of Vb chain gene segment use, at the CDR3 length distribution level (Immunoscope/Spectratype) with a quantitative PCR assessment of all CDR3 length-restricted mRNAs in each family. The analyses can be performed in human, mouse, rat and primate models.
To explore the repertoire diversity, we have developed totally unsupervised statistical analysis methods which integrate the whole TcLandscape shapes in order to give "interpretable" data of the TcLandscape analyses. Such methods can be applied:
- For the follow-up of complex immune responses: e.g correlation between the TcLandscape shape and the MRI activity in MS patients
- To stratify groups of patients: these methods are used to explore and simplify complex multivariate data sets in order to provide a "projection" of the samples onto a reduced, easily visualized space using dedicated factorial techniques. Such discrimination tools are available in order to make group prediction
