Bernard Vanhove was recruited by the CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) in 1999 to develop novel immunosuppressive approaches. He has been the principal investigator of national and international grants (French Research National agency, Roche Organ Transplantation Research Foundation) and is now a group leader at the Institute of Transplantation at Nantes University. With a past experience in consulting to pharmaceutical companies, he now acts as an external expert for two NIH programmes and is reviewer for several journals specialized in transplantation. Bernard Vanhove also teaches Transplant Immunology at the annual Hesperis European session.
